Public Sector Practice
Standard Practice is a New York–based practice that works alongside public agencies, nonprofits, and civic partners to help public programs and institutions do their work well — for the people who depend on them.
We take on the parts of public work that are easy to defer and hard to get right: the operational detail, the plain writing, the follow-through after a policy is signed. That is where public trust is actually built or lost, and it is where we spend our time. Our work sits at the intersection of policy, operations, and the everyday experience of New Yorkers who rely on public institutions.
